My dream job is to work in the
games design industry, on something like concept art, 3D modelling or
something else. My dream is to work on games like Pokémon or other games that
I really like but mostly I want to work on a game with other people who just
like myself will pour there heart into the game that they are making. Other
dreams I have is travelling around Japan since I believe it to be a beautiful
country that I will definitely visit one day or maybe even get a job there in
the future since that’s where Akibahara (the electric town) is based.

As
of 17/03/2016 I have low level modelling and animation skills that I have
developed on Maya at home. I ca make quick blocky items or if given enough
time and having enough motivation I am able to do more complex models to use.
I am still developing my skills at home to be used in later projects in the
future.

Before I managed to actually get a
job I had work experience in year 10 when I had to work for every aspect of a
business, I learned how to interact with people from different parts of a
business in a respectable manor.
I have worked at Tesco for over a
year, even though it’s a menial job I still take my work seriously. I make
sure to wake up early and do my job even if I don’t like the work I will put
my all into what I do.

Personal Statement
My dream job is to work in the games design industry, on something like concept art, 3D modelling or something else. My dream is to work on games like Pokémon or other games that I really like but mostly I want to work on a game with other people who just like myself will pour there heart into the game that they are making because what I really dream of is making a game that I can be proud of. My interest in games has come from when I was a kid and constantly played games since I didn’t really have any friends and it made me happy, that’s why I want to help others in the same way and give them a release from reality, it’s also the reason why I respect games designers such as Satoshi Tajiri. Other dreams I have is travelling around Japan since I believe it to be a beautiful country that I will definitely visit one day or maybe even get a job there in the future since that’s where Akibahara (the electric town) is based.

I have certain skills that can be transferred to any situation such as I am quite a adaptable person, meaning that whatever situation I am put in I will change to fit that situation e.g. if I have to work on a game that I am not so keen on like a Fifa game for something like testing then I would still put my all into checking that game out because I believe that only those who adapt to any situation will be able to survive in the world and especially in a business.
When I have set out to do something I become very hardworking ad committed to it, when I start to become passionate about my work I will keep at it and concentrate solely on doing it. If I focus on something I will do it, for example if I were to be making a game I will keep doing my best no matter what and no matter what gets in my way I believe that my tenacity will help me get past it.
Projects that I have worked on have included media projects such as making the intro to a film where I worked in the group: filming, acting and editing a video to the best of our abilities. Also ever since coming to Eccles I have been learning and making game projects such as 2D SHMUPS game where I designed alien like characters and had a setting in space and later created a 3D arena game in Unity and have learned how to make 3D assets in two different software’s which are Blender and Maya. On Maya I have created a 3D room with a futuristic hologram of the solar system which actually move and on Blender I am creating assets for my 3D environment which include a laser gun and other things
I’ve always believed that I have been quite a creative person who is good at idea generation, creation and development. I love trying to come up with unique ideas for game mechanics, game stories and game characters. What I love about games the most out of anything that goes into a game is the story or games that have characters that draw you in and really make you feel like you are there and are a part of their world since it give a much greater experience. I love immersing myself into games and the same goes for my own ideas to see if I myself would actually enjoy playing those games.
I’m also a team player by whom I mean that I have good team work skills, I say this since I believe myself to be a very reliable person and acting accordingly. I may be quite antisocial at first but I’m easily able to break out of my shell once I find me common ground with someone. I also think I am quite kind to others and I’m not able to be mean to other people since I can usually feel empathy for those around me.
Other skills that I have is ICT skills and numeracy skills and with my innovation I am willing to continuously further improve them because I thing I will need to keep on adapting to the times and improving my skills. I am a punctual person who will be on time or early and I am positive to the things I believe in, I also never completely reject ideas others have made.
I have a few interest that make me who I am such as reading, I am not the biggest reader in the world and I don’t read a lot of mainstream books like harry potter or game of thrones but I love reading light novels; up until right now I have read 2 Sword Art Online Novels, 3 No Game No Life Novels, 3 Is It Wrong Novels, 2 Black Bullet Novels, 3 The Devil Is A Part Timer Novels, 2 Log Horizon Novels and my favourite which I’ve read the most of is the Highschool DxD Novels which I have read 17 Novels of, I especially enjoy stories about angels, demons and other mythologies as long as they can be funny as well as action packed. Also a novel that I am really looking forward to is Overlord.
I enjoy cooking even though I am not the best at it but even more than cooking itself I really enjoy baking things like cakes and doughnuts, I’m not professional at it but I will do it whenever I am bored and really enjoy doing it. I have made a multitude pf baked goods on my own and with friends, I really enjoy it when someone compliments my baking skills and makes me want to improve which is something I will take into the gaming industry such as if a piece of work gets complimented I will improve so I can get more approval.
I am not a movie fanatic but I do really enjoy the occasional cinema visit or just staying at home and watching a movie. My favourite movies are usually comedies and my recent favourite is the Deadpool movie, I really enjoy superhero movies like Avengers or Spiderman and I really like Deadpool because it was a whole new take on the genre, it was like another superhero movie but for a much older audience, it had more comedy, more violence and blood and more adult jokes which gave the superhero genre a whole new tone and made itself unique which is what I want to do in games, I want to make an enjoyable yet unique game.
Overall my favourite thing is Anime and manga, I have read/watched an unbelievable amount of both of them so much so that it would be impossible to list them all some of my very favourite anime are based off of Japanese games such as Danganronpa the animation, Persona 4 the animation and Steins;Gate. After watching the anime I always play the games as soon as they are available in English. It is because of my love for Anime and Manga that I have started to like Japanese culture and Japan itself.
Obviously I have a great love for games and have a multitude of favourite games such as Danganronpa 1/2, Pokémon, Steins;Gate, Persona 4, Naruto ninja storm, Digimon Cyber Sleuth and plenty of other games. I play games for the story and usually prefer a turn based game so I can take my time and enjoy myself and not have to rush my turn but that’s not to say that I don’t enjoy faster pasted games such as Splatoon or Call of Duty. I really enjoy playing games with others since I believe it magnifies the enjoyment when playing with friends.
I have a great interest in a few things that belong in the gaming industry such as concept art, modelling and story writing. I really love these three things because I think they are what really make a game, concept art is what can define a game and how it will turn out, 3D modelling is what defines what a game has become and brings it to life in the end and story writing is the journey that will define the game from start to end, without a story or at least a basis the game will never come to life since an artist won’t know what to draw, a modeller won’t be able to model anything so that’s why I believe story writing in games is one of the absolutely best things that can go into games
