This apprenticeship is from Estio and it is looking for a programming apprentice with TT Games. This apprenticeship is based in Cheshire and has a annum of £8000. TT games is a british video game developer  and publisher who have published numerous games including numerous Lego games such as Lego Jurassic park and Lego Worlds. TT Games was established in 2005 when the publisher Giant Interasctive and the developer Traveller's Tales and has since grown to include the games development studio TT Fusion and TV production company TT Animation and was later obtained by Warner Bros.

while training at PlaygroundSquad you will be working 9am to 4pm, monday to friday while earning nationally recognised qualifications. the weekly wage in £99.00 for 30 hours which will last for 24 months and there are 10 positions in total. as a game programmer you learn 2D ands 3D game programming using C++ and 3D APIs, such as, DirectX or OpenGL. you will be disciplined in instance mathematics, rendering, network, AI, physics, audio programming, scripting, optimisations as well as code management. you will also work with PC, PS Vita and PS4.

The apprenticeship in games design will teach you how to kick start you ideas in games design. methods and models that will help you spark creative thinking. you will start from the very basics of games design e.g. creating levels and prototyping and proceeding onto creating interesting worlds, maintaining game balance and develop captivating stories and characters. project management, managing and structuring documents and giving presentations are also important aspects of this discipline.

this spprenticeship is based in manchester and has a salary of £2.68 and you would work for 35 hours a week. The main responsibility of being a designer is to provide a quality games for your own portfolio aswell as provide quality games for the projects that you are working on. On this course you will learn how to kick start your games ideas and you will learn pretty much the same as what you would learn when working with the PlaygroundSquad such as captivating levels, worlds and characters. This apprenticeship is divided between studying and working in authentic or client-ordered projects. You will so be assisted by a senior developer on your project. Also during the projects you will work in teams together with friends who do other jobs/ the same job in the apprenticeship such as artists or programmers. It is your responsibility to keep to schedule and stay dedicated to make the most of your time.

with this apprenticeship you will be partnered with some of the best animators and modellers in the business while trying to develop the most flexible and expressive character rigs to create the best animation. you would have to work directly with character asset team memebers which includes directors, character designers, animators, modelers and look development artists to fdefine the bets and create the best animations possible. you will be responsible for the creation and downstream success of each character. also character effects for shot production, including cloth and hair simulation and final character polishing

On this apprenticeship you will be able to start in a range of sectors including digital, television, archive, animation, film, interactive media, photo imaging and radio. You'll have to develop a understanding of the production cycle and how they're related to different parts of the business, examples of this would be visual, audio and post production and how they would work together. There are a number of advanced level apprenticeships such as: Production assistant,  post production, broadcast assistant, archive assistant, animation assistant, assistant to the camera crew, junior designer, junior researcher, Web coordinator, trainee/assistant photographer,  digital assistant and production secretary.

Task 5 – Progression Training

Use the government’s apprenticeship site to familiarise yourself with the process of choosing and applying for apprenticeships. Do not register at this stage.

Create a shortlist of ten apprenticeships that you would consider applying for and include a short profile on each. You may find it very difficult to find an apprenticeship in a field directly linked to your interest in the creative media sector. However, you may find an interesting alternative.

You are aiming to prepare personal career development material to a quality that reflects near professional standards consistently using correct formal language.



The title of this work should be titled Task 5 – Progression Training.
